What We Offer

Our Five Programmes

Each programme is designed with accessibility and dignity at its core, meeting members where they are and building towards independence.

Drop-in Centre

A daily safe and welcoming space where members gather, socialize, and receive support. Members are served a nutritious lunch every day, ensuring food security and community connection.

Income Generating Projects

Members develop real, marketable skills through sewing of bed linen, embroidery, and overlocking. Products are sold to generate income for the workshop and economic participation for members.

Beading

Members create beautiful beadwork in a variety of designs — necklaces, bracelets, and decorative items. This programme builds fine motor skills, patience, and creative expression.

Food Gardening

Members grow fresh produce in the workshop garden, contributing to the kitchen and developing horticultural skills. Supported by Siyabonga Africa, with 18 members trained.

ABET Training

Adult Basic Education and Training Levels 1–4 gives members foundational literacy and numeracy skills. 15 members have completed with certificates, opening doors to formal employment.
